Papersky is a travel and lifestyle magazine based in Japan focused on bringing Japanese culture, nature, and a new perspective on lifestyle to Japan and the world.

Their TENUGUI collection features over 30 patterns for Japanese travelers tenuguis (quick drying hand towels). The patterns of the tenuguis themselves are inspired by Papersky’s “Tour de Nippon” series of bicycle rides, which explores Japan’s rural prefectures, with each pattern connected to a specific place.

And just because we can, we turned three of those patterns into a very limited series of Win Wings, with the matching hand crafted cycling cap by Keisuke Kawashima of Velo Spica in Japan.

The pattern that symbolizes Niigata, Japans north western prefecture, draws it's inspiration from it's famous artisan salt production. Here on the scenic northern coast line, family run businesses transform ocean water, seaweed and herbs into what is perhaps the most delicious salt in the world.

Find the Tenugui towels and more unique outdoor, hiking, cycling, lifestyle and borderless wear in the PaperSky store.
